We’re acutely aware of the risks of climate change and the energy transition challenge. Our industry has a critical role to play in this next chapter, providing energy security. Genel is poised to be part of a positive transition, with a portfolio designed to fit a future of fewer and better natural resource projects as a low-carbon intensity and high net margin business.

Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) have provided us with a ‘blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all’ since 2015. Four in particular help focus Genel’s efforts to manage our business, employee and community relationships, and our environmental footprint as we develop and run sites.

Sustainability Report

Genel has published its fourth comprehensive Sustainability Report, detailing our activities as we aim to positively impact the communities in which we operate, and meet head on the challenges associated with the energy transition.
