Somaliland emergency drought response
In response to the emergence of drought conditions across Somaliland, Genel and CPC Taiwan have recently funded an emergency water distribution project to deliver much-needed clean water to the communities impacted by these conditions.
The project distributed over 9 million litres of clean water to 147 of the most-affected villages across the Togdheer, Saraar and Sanaag regions of Somaliland. The project was planned in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MOEM) and delivered by ACRIF, who we thank for the efficient and professional rollout of this project.
